Calling all owners of accommodation, bike shops, guided tour companies etc.
If you have any kind of business that might be of use to cyclists visiting Portugal, then this is your chance to get it listed – free – on THE top website for cycling in Portugal.
I really want Pedal Portugal to be the best resource possible for anyone contemplating cycling in Portugal. To that end, I’ve been slowly building the Directory & Links section for several months now – in particular the Accommodation pages.
So far, this has pretty much been by trawling the internet and looking for useful links. But there’s only so much I can do on my own…

With the Rooms & Apartments page, I’ve been putting up links to local council/tourist office websites with lists of hotels etc. But I’d like to also get links for B&Bs – particularly for anyone who wants to encourage riders to visit their area.
In addition, I still want more listings for bike shops/mechanics and companies offering guided tours or any other kind of support services for cyclists.
I won’t be recommending any companies – I just want this site to act as a central information point where cyclists can find the relevant information and then choose for themselves.
And I’m not just bragging when I say this is THE top site of its kind – if you Google ‘cycling in Portugal‘, this will be the first site you see. (It’s also on the first page for almost any other search you can think of that’s to do with bicycles, cyclists and Portugal!)
I did toy with the idea of charging for advertising but for various reasons (laziness, lack of commercial drive etc), I’ve decided just to make it free. Only rule is, your ad has to be a maximum of 300 characters. You can include a photo or logo and one hyperlink. It’s an open offer – just email me at pedalportugal@gmail.com if you want to get listed.
Thanks for putting this all together. My husband & I have been considering a Portugal bike trip for a while now…this is a great resource!
My pleasure! My idea was to create the kind of site I would have found useful – seems to be working.
