Algarve Tour – Photo Gallery

It’s now day four of the first ever Pedal Portugal guided tour…and it seems to be going more or less to plan so far.

The weather’s been kind, my group of riders is great and we haven’t had too many hiccups. Just a few flat tyres on the first day, a snapped gear hanger, and a guesthouse with a plumbing problem! Luckily everything got sorted out and, following yesterday’s big climb to Monchique, we’re now chilling out for a day before tomorrow’s descent to the coast.

To get an idea of what the cycling has been like, the photos below help tell the story of the first stages of the inaugural Algarve Winter Tour:

This is the first guided cycle trip – but there are still four places left on the next Algarve Winter Tour, leaving Lagos on 28th February.

Alternatively, take a look at the main Guided Tours page to see the rest of the schedule for 2016 and details of other bike tours taking place through some of my favourite parts of Portugal.
